Hey Friends and Happy Sunday,
I will talk about Book Two in this blog. If you haven’t read it and intend to, “DO NOT READ” this blog.
The books I will be discussing are ‘The Perfect Divorce’ by Jeneva Rose.

Overview:
This book was even better than the first one. To tell you that Sarah made sure that no evidence was against her was chef’s kiss.
In ‘The Perfect Divorce,’ Sarah is married to one of her colleagues, Bob. In the first book, he was the one who was mad at Sarah for becoming a partner before him, as well as the one that team up with Sarah to kill Kelly AKA Jenna for killing his brother.
Bob had a one-night stand with a female named Stacy, while drunk, and when Sarah found out, she filed for divorce. Bob was mad because he wanted to work on his marriage, while Sarah did not. Sarah had already been through the same situation decades ago with her first husband and did not want to go through that again with her second husband. Sarah told her husband, Bob, multiple times that she just wanted to move forward with a quiet divorce, but Bob wouldn’t hear it.
When their meeting was over, Bob made a fuss about not wanting a divorce from Sarah and said he would do everything in his power to change her mind. Sarah did not care about getting back together with Bob; she just wanted it to be over and move on.
Ryan went down hard after he was elected out of office. He started drinking to the point where he was drinking and driving and hit someone. Ryan was arrested after he hit someone and was taken into custody. After he was taken into custody, the officer who was supposed to be watching him did not check to see if he had anything that could harm him or not. When Sheriff Hudson went to ask Ryan some questions about a case, he was found hanging with a belt off the bump bed. Now, in my opinion, how in the world did the cop let him get checked in without making sure that he didn’t have anything that could harm him?
Sarah only wanted two thing, a quick divorce and full custody of their daughter. Sarah left her full time attorney job and opened up a non-profit organization for prison reform to help felons that need a job and fresh start in the world. Sarah has nothing to do with Bob having an affair with Stacy, even though deep down he thought she had her hands in the situation. Sarah did kidnapped Stacy and took her to a abandon farm house where she stayed for a whole week. The way Sarah between to be someone else while making sure that everything pointed to Bob without it being pointed to pointed her was chef kissed. She even made sure that the first case with her first husband did not point to her as well, but be pointed to her second husband in the process. The part about the knife from the first case where Sarsh showed Bob the knife that she used to stab Kelly and decided to give it to him. She knew deep down he wasn’t going to throw it away some switch out the knife with pig blood and hide the real knife in his apartment behind a painting. So just in case he decided to turn on her the case will fall back on him and not her.
Her ex-mother-in-law reappeared when she learned that the wrongful death case would be reopened. She made negative comments about Sarah on the news. When Sarah heard this, she responded with her own remarks. In response to what Sarah said, her ex-mother-in-law filed a defamation lawsuit and chose to deliver the paperwork in person, even though she knew she couldn’t do that herself.
Overall, the book took a surprising turn, and in the end, Sarah emerged successful with two deceased husbands, an ex-mother-in-law who had died before the case reached court, and her daughter and non-profit foundation still intact.
If you’ve read The Perfect Divorce, what did you think?
Happy Reading 💕
