Try my delicious and sweet dessert this spring.
1 cup of shorten
1 cup of brown sugar
1/2 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 1/2 cup of flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of salt
3 cups of rolled oats
2 cups of chocolate chip
1 cup of cranberries
In a mixing bowl add shorten, brown sugar, vanilla flavor and sugar. Beat it with a hand mixer until smooth.
Next, add the eggs and beat until smooth.
In another bowl, add flour, salt, baking soda, and sift together until its combined well. Slowly divided the flour mixture into three parts and slowly add them in the sugar mixture and mix them together until all of the flour mixture is blended well.
Last fold the oats, chocolate chips and dried cranberries into the cookie dough and put it into the fridge for an hour until the cookie dough is firm.
After an hour bake the cookies for 15 minutes or until the cookies are golden brown. Take cookies out of the oven and place them on a cooling rack for 5 minutes to cool and enjoy. 🙂
