Hey friends,
Somewhere between school drop-offs, laundry piles, work emails, snack requests, and remembering everyone else’s needs, moms often place themselves at the very bottom of the list.
Here’s your reminder:
You are allowed to take 10 minutes for yourself today.
Not after everything is done.
Not once the house is spotless.
Not when everyone else is happy.
Today. Without guilt.
Ten minutes may not sound like much, but small pauses matter. A short reset can help you feel calmer, clearer, and more present for the rest of your day.
Your 10 minutes could look like:
- Drinking coffee while it’s still hot
- Sitting outside in silence
- Listening to your favorite song
- Reading a few pages of a book
- Stretching or taking a quick walk
- Doing skincare without rushing
- Journaling your thoughts
- Simply doing absolutely nothing
The point isn’t productivity.
The point is you.
Moms give constantly — emotionally, mentally, physically. Taking a few minutes to recharge isn’t selfish; it’s necessary. You deserve care too.
So this is your permission slip:
Pause. Breathe. Step away for 10 minutes today.
The dishes can wait. The emails can wait. The world will keep spinning.
And when guilt tries to creep in, remind yourself:
A cared-for mom is not a selfish mom.
Take the 10 minutes. You deserve them.
