Hey Friends,
Welcome to my garden today I will be updating you on some of the things that I have been planting and growing in my garden as replanting new items for the late summer/fall season. I will be taking you on a tour of the new and exciting things that are coming. Let’s start with the
Greenhouse Garden Last Year
Late last year I came up with a plan to turn our old car port tent into a greenhouse with a lot of planning, saving, and buying. I came up with a plan that I thought that would work for me and the weather. Unfortunately, those plans were beautiful until a bad storm hit and threw the tent into the woods. For over a year the tent sat in the woods until I could figure out how I was going to lift it up and move it.

The beginning of my Big Greenhouse
The above picture is from 2022 as you can see in the photo (Greenhouse Garden). I used to have the greenhouse on the left side of the backyard. This is before I bought the two smaller greenhouses later that year. As you can see the original idea was that I was going to put poly all around the side but decided to go against that idea, which you will see soon. I bought all my materials from amazon except for the soil, plants, and a few seeds. To reference any of the items that I bought (Click Link)

Coming up with a plan on how I was going to design this greenhouse in a DIY form was a very challenging and expensive one. After coming up with a plan and figuring out what I wanted to do. I started drawing and sketching the idea down so that I can go ahead and work on those. I put down the brown raise boxes that you see around it, poly material, soil, put down garden fabric on the ground to keep the weeds away inside the raise boxes and outside of the raise boxes. I had finally put up the poly on top of the greenhouse instead of on the side. For the side panel I decided to get fiberglass mesh that the air can flow through the greenhouse with ease.

Greenhouse Garden Today

My Greenhouse is almost complete with few items still to be order or tweet around, but for the most part it is coming along very nicely.
In the picture below is when I decided to move the Big Greenhouse to its new location which is on the other side of the yard.
- First picture we move the greenhouse to its new location
- Second picture we concrete the poles into the ground
- Third picture I put down my raise garden beds
- Fourth picture putting the fence around the greenhouse
