Self-Love

Why is it so important to have self-love? What does self-love mean to you?

Self-love means that accept yourself for you who are whether it with kindness, respect, or with nurture. Self-love is about treating yourself with compassion, how you talk to yourself with love, feel about yourself emotionally, spiritually, and mentally.

Example of Self-Love

  • Saying positive things about yourself
  • Forgiving yourself
  • Being assertive
  • Value your feelingd
  • making healthy choices most of the time
  • Asking for help
  • Setting realistic expectation
  • Noticing your progress and effort
