Grocery Shopping Tips

shopping tips

Grocery shopping is one my hobbies I love to do. I am in the grocery store pretty much every single day or every other day. My best friend is always on me about me being in the grocery store because every time we talk I’m pretty much in the grocery store like 95% of the time. Lol… A lot of people do not like going to the grocery store or even like stepping into the grocery store because it so much to choose from, look for, or even find anything. I find it the best way to look for something or find something in the grocery store is by writing a list of things you need. It can be a short list of items for a few items that you need or it can be a large list of things that you need to restock the house on all of your kitchen needs. I write down a list like this for example:

Vegetables

  1. Broccoli
  2. Carrots
  3. Squash

Proteins

  1. Chicken
  2. Beef
  3. Pork chops

Fruits

  1. Strawberry
  2. Melon
  3. Peaches

Can foods

  1. Tuna fish
  2. Baked beans
  3. Tomato sauce

Frozen Foods

  1. Fish
  2. Salmon
  3. Shrimp

Frozen vegetables

  1. Corn
  2. Mix vegetable
  3. Green beans

Dairy

  1. Cheese
  2. Milk
  3. Yogurt

Baking Goods

  1. Flour
  2. Baking powder
  3. Sugar

Sauces

  1. Alfredo sauce
  2. Cheese sauces
  3. Spaghetti sauces

Seasons

  1. Salt
  2. Black pepper
  3. Cinnamon

This is just a little sample of my grocery list that I have when I go on my big grocery shopping day. What are some of the ways that keep you organize when going grocery shopping? Or some tips that help you get through the big shopping experiences?
