Hey Friends,

Welcome to the Mom Cocktail Series, a space where we celebrate small joys, simple recipes, and the art of reclaiming a little “me time,” one glass at a time.

This series isn’t about fancy bar tools or hard-to-find ingredients. It’s about approachable, no-fuss drinks that fit into real life, think nap-time creations, post-bedtime pours, and weekend brunch staples like the classic mimosa. Whether you have five minutes or fifteen, these recipes are designed to feel doable, refreshing, and just a little bit indulgent. Today, we will be making the classic mimosa.

Classic Mimosa

Glass of mimosa with orange slice on a brunch table with croissant, berries, eggs benedict, and flowers
A bright brunch setting featuring a refreshing mimosa garnished with an orange slice
  • 1 part chilled orange juice
  • 2 parts chilled Prosecco (or any sparkling wine)

How to make it:

  1. Pour orange juice into a champagne flute first
  2. Top gently with Prosecco
  3. No stirring (the bubbles mix it naturally)

Optional:

  • Add a splash of triple sec for extra citrus depth
  • Use fresh-squeezed juice for a brighter flavor
  • Garnish with an orange slice

Light, fizzy, and perfect for brunch 👍

~ Cheers!!
