Hey Friends,
If your days feel anything like mine lately—full, fast, and a little chaotic, you’re not alone. Between school runs, laundry piles, work, and trying to keep everyone fed (again?!), it’s easy to forget about you.
That’s exactly why I started My Life As A Mom: to remind us that motherhood and having hobbies can coexist beautifully.
This week, I wanted to share a gentle reminder:
You don’t need hours of free time to enjoy something you love.
You just need moments.
Here are a few simple ways I’ve been reconnecting with my hobbies lately:
✨ The 10-Minute Reset
Instead of scrolling, I’ve been spending 10 minutes doing something creative—journaling, sketching, or even organizing a small space. It’s amazing how refreshing it feels.
✨ Hobby Stacking
I’ve started pairing hobbies with everyday tasks. Listening to audiobooks while cooking? Game changer.
✨ Letting Go of Perfection
Not every hobby needs to become a side hustle or a masterpiece. Sometimes it’s just about enjoying the process.
And here’s the truth I’m learning (slowly):
Taking time for yourself doesn’t take away from your family—it adds to who you are for your family.
💬 I’d love to hear from you. What’s one small thing you’ve done lately just for yourself?
Hit reply and tell me. I read every message, and it truly makes my day.
With you in the chaos and the joy,
—My Life As A Mom
P.S. If you’ve been waiting for a “sign” to pick up that hobby again… this is it. 💛
