Ingredients
- 1 packet of wonton wrappers
- 1 can of peaches (drained) (Reserve the juice)
- 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
- ½ cup of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 (8 oz) package of cream cheese (at room temperature)
Directions
Preheat the deep fryer to 350 degrees.
- In a mixing bowl, blend the cream cheese, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and brown sugar until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, drain the peaches (set the juice aside for later use).
- Chop the peaches into small cubes and gently fold them into the cream cheese mixture.
- Take a wonton wrapper and place a teaspoon of the filling in the center. Use the reserved peach juice to moisten the edges of the wrapper for sealing.
- In another container, combine the cinnamon and sugar for sprinkling on top of the finished wontons.
- Fry the wontons until they are golden brown on both sides.
- Remove the wontons from the deep fryer and allow them to drain excess oil.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon and sugar mixture over the wontons and enjoy!
