Locate all of your personal information like birth certificates, social security cards, saving bonds, etc., and organize them where it is easy to find.
Decide where you want to store this important information, it could be on your computer, safe, index card, binder, or wherever you think would be easy to find.
Label all of your important document
- Health
- Just in Case
- Safety
- Finance
- and more
Make sure to update each item once a month and file them. Add all major purchases to your household inventory and check your credit report every year to make sure that nothing is out of the ordinary.
