We never know what’s going on in the life of another person. The guy who cuts me off in traffic or in the checkout clerk who reacts to a query with impatience. The way someone reacts doesn’t always reflect how they feel about me; it is often instead a response to the complex circumstances of their life in that given day. God , help me remember to respond to others with grace and kindness – to put good out into the world just for the sake of doing so – for the right words spoken to someone at the right time might life the worry that burdens another’s heart.

Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.
