National Caramel Popcorn Day

Caramel Toffee Peanut Popcorn

KODAK Digital Still Camera I love popcorn especially the kettle kind. So the other day I decide to make my own version at home so I came up with the caramel toffee peanut popcorn. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Ingredients

1 bag of popcorn (your choice)

1 bag of toffee peanuts

2 cups of caramel

Caramel Sauce

1 cup of brown sugar

½ cup of half and half

Pinch of salt

Direction

Add the brown sugar, half and half, and salt all in a sauce pan on medium high and cook it up until the caramel becomes thick. After it is done take it off the heat and sit it to the side for it to cool.

Next put the popcorn into the microwave and cook it by direction on the bag or go by the watts of your microwave after the popcorn take it out, put it in a bowl, add the caramel, peanuts stir it altogether until everything is well mix together and enjoy!! 🙂

It was a hard first few months trying to figure out to stay in school as well take care of a child. During my last year of college I got my first Job at a Private Country Club. That was my first time learning how to really multitask with school, taking care of my daughter, and working. Well three years later I finish with my Bachelor of Science of Administration degree next spring I will go back to get my Master degree in Psychology. I wanted to start this blog to basically show my journey of what I can do as a mom as well aspire other mom out there that no matter what you can do anything that you can put your mind too as well do something that make you happy in life.
