Peppermint Chocolate Chip Cookies

The Second Holiday Cookie!!!! Check out the recipe (below):

Ingredients

1 cup of shorten or butter

1 egg

1 cup of sugar

2 cup of self risen flour

1 tsp. of peppermint extract

1/2 of cup chocolate chip

3 to 6 drops of green food coloring (Optional)

Direction

1.) Mix the sugar and shorten or (butter) together until smooth or well mix. After mixing the sugar and shorten together add the peppermint extract and egg into the battle and mix well .

2.) Next add your food coloring into the battle.

3.) Add the flour little by little until all of the flour is gone and it form a dough.

4.) Last add your chocolate chips to the battle and fold into the dough.

5.) Wrap dough in plastic wrap and put into the fridge for 30 minutes to an hour until firm.

6.) After cookie dough is firm take the dough out of the fridge and roll cookie dough to form a ball. Place them on a parchment paper and bake them for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.

7.) Take them out of the oven and put them on a cooling rack to cool for 5 minutes.
